SQ-80 functions in providing analog-type 4-pole lowpass filtering and editing of digital waveforms.
This Cross Wave Synthesizer has unique sound design possibilities and holds a position on electronic music for his unique funky, dirty organ sounds , analog-type sounds, glassy EPs, pads and sound effects.

There are NO acoustic sounds (guitars, flutes or oboes...) in this collection since even the cheapest modern synth produce better acoustic sounds.
This is a classic analog synthesizer, NOT a "general" synth where emulation of "real" instrument is the scope, so you do not get "traditional" instruments, don't look at this for your piano, saxophone, string needs.
The power of this legendary Synth in any case was on the complex and unique synth sounds and not on acoustic instruments imitation.
I spend last two years creating this sublime sound collection for Yamaha Tyros 5 / GENOS.
The sounds come from my personal sound collection and I carefully handcrafted every sound in my studio and on live performances.
I personally record the samples from my Ensoniq SQ-80 using top notch studio equipment and i spend many hours of sound- GENOS, SX 900, SX 700, PSR 975, PSR 775, PSR 970, PSR 770, PSR A3000, PSR 670.
